Virtual University Mode of Education

The Virtual University of Pakistan, a public sector university of Pakistan, was established in 2002 through the National Assembly Act to provide higher education for students of Pakistan who are unable to attend conventional universities. VU offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs across multiple disciplines, including management sciences, computer science, education, mathematics, psychology, and life sciences.

The Virtual University of Pakistan delivers education through recorded video lectures, reading materials, video seminars, and online viva sessions. The institution employs highly qualified faculty members who are specialists in their respective subjects and have pre-recorded their lectures. These lectures are publicly accessible via VU’s open courseware website and on youtube.com/vu.

Mode of Education at The Virtual University of Pakistan The Virtual University follows a semester-based system, enabling students to study flexibly at their convenience. With over 213 campuses across Pakistan, students can engage in academic activities through VULMS. The university’s widespread virtual campuses and home-study flexibility align with its mission to provide “World Class Education at Your Doorstep,” eliminating the need for students to relocate to major cities for higher education.
